About this bottle
En Route Les Pommiers 2022 is a Pinot Noir from En Route, the Russian River Valley label from the Nickel & Nickel/Far Niente family of wineries. It's wonderfully balanced with aromas of red cherries and wild strawberries, and a rich, complex palate of ripe red fruit, baking spices, and barrel notes of vanilla, toasty oak, and luscious cream. The tannins are round and supple, leading to a finish of lingering dark fruit.
How to drink En Route Les Pommiers Pinot Noir
Serve it slightly below room temperature, around 60-65°F, in a wide-bowled glass to let the cherry and baking-spice aromas open. It's an excellent match for roasted meats, creamy pastas, and standout cheeses.
