Dona Vega Espadin Joven Mezcal is a premium mezcal made from 100% Espadin agave. It is produced in the small village of San Juan del Rio, Oaxaca, Mexico. The agave is harvested from the surrounding hills and cooked in traditional stone ovens. The cooked agave is then crushed by a horse-drawn tahona and fermented in open-air tanks. The mezcal is then double-distilled in copper stills. The result is a smooth, smoky mezcal with notes of cooked agave, citrus, and herbs.
