Fior is a blended Scotch whisky, which means it is built from malt whisky and grain whisky drawn from more than one distillery and married together toward a consistent house profile. Blends are the format that made Scotch a global drink, and they are made to be approachable rather than challenging: softer, lighter and far more mixable than most single malts, with the grain whisky smoothing out whatever edges the malt brings. Expect a nose of honey and light cereal, a palate of vanilla, orchard fruit and gentle malt, and a short, clean finish. Pour it long with soda and ice, or build a highball or a whisky sour.
