Flor de Caña Rum 375ml

Flor de Cana is Nicaragua's best-known rum, distilled by the family-owned Compania Licorera de Nicaragua in Chichigalpa and aged in tropical heat at the foot of the San Cristobal volcano, where warm air pushes the spirit in and out of the wood far faster than it would move in a cooler climate. This is the half bottle, which is the right size for testing a rum before committing to a full one. Expect vanilla and toasted oak on the nose, a palate of caramel, dried fruit and light baking spice, and a finish that runs drier than most Latin American rum. Pour it neat, over one cube, or into a daiquiri.
