Fortaleza Reposado Winter Blend 2025 750ml

Fortaleza Reposado Winter Blend is the annual limited release from Guillermo Sauza's small distillery in the town of Tequila, and it lands once a year in the winter. Fortaleza still works the old way: agave steamed in a brick oven, crushed under a stone tahona, fermented in open-top wooden tanks and distilled in copper pot stills. Time in oak softens the spirit without burying the plant underneath it. Cooked agave and butterscotch on the nose, then a palate of caramel, baked apple, cinnamon and green pepper, finishing long and quietly earthy. Drink it neat in a copita and give it a few minutes in the glass - this is not a mixing bottle.
