Foursquare Penultimus 15 years 750 ml

Foursquare Penultimus is a fifteen-year-old single blended rum from the Foursquare Distillery in Barbados, matured entirely in the tropics - where rum ages fast and gives up a great deal to evaporation, so fifteen Caribbean years carry more weight than the number suggests. As with everything Richard Seale bottles, there is no added sugar, no colouring and no flavouring involved. Dried fruit, toffee and old bookshop oak on the nose; a palate of raisin, orange peel, dark chocolate and clove sitting on dry tannin; a long finish of tobacco and cocoa. Serve it neat at room temperature and leave the ice out - this is a rum for a slow hour.
