G4 Anejo De Madera De Muertos - Orange 750 ml

G4 Anejo de Madera de Muertos is the Dia de Muertos edition of G4's oak-aged anejo, and this orange release is one of that series. It comes from Destileria El Pandillo in Jesus Maria, high in the Jalisco highlands, where Felipe Camarena cooks agave in brick ovens and ferments with a blend of collected rainwater and deep-well spring water. Time in wood turns the highland fruit darker without burying it. Expect cooked agave and vanilla on the nose, then caramel, baked apple and a thread of cinnamon across the palate, with roasted agave and dry oak on the finish. Drink it neat in a copita; it does not need a mixer.
