Garrison Brothers Laguna Madre 2025 is a Texas straight bourbon from the Hye, Texas distillery, aged eight years total — four in white American oak, then four more finished in rare French Limousin oak from central French forests, sourced from trees at least 120 years old. That second cask brings high vanilla and lignin content the standard American-oak years don't. The result pours cherry mahogany with vanilla bean, hazelnut, saltwater taffy and milk chocolate, plus toasted caramel and spiced notes on the palate. It's a limited release — 3,000 bottles — with proceeds supporting Texas coastal conservation.
