Gentleman's Cut Player Exclusive Shacho is a single barrel bottling of the Kentucky straight bourbon Stephen Curry helped launch. The Player Exclusive series is exactly what the name says: individual casks selected and bottled on their own rather than batched together, which means each release has its own shape and none of it is smoothed out by blending. Expect brown sugar, red apple and soft vanilla on the nose, a palate of caramel, cinnamon and dry oak over corn sweetness, and a medium, gently tannic finish. Pour it neat to start, then try it over one large cube if the oak needs a little room.
