Gran Centenario Gallardo Tequila Extra Anejo 750ml

Gran Centenario Gallardo is the extra añejo in a Jalisco tequila range whose roots go back to 1857, and extra añejo means a minimum of three years in oak before anything reaches the bottle. Those years turn the spirit copper and trade the raw green snap of agave for something rounder and slower to unfold. Vanilla, dried apricot and toasted almond open the nose; the palate is caramel, cooked agave, cocoa and a run of baking spice; the finish is long, gently tannic and sweet at the edges. This is an after-dinner bottle. Pour it neat at room temperature and leave the mixers in the cupboard.
