Gray Whale Gin Cali Botanicals 1L

Gray Whale Gin is made in California by Golden State Distillery, and its botanical bill traces the gray whale's migration up the coast: juniper from Big Sur, limes from Baja, fir tree, mint, almonds and kombu seaweed harvested off the Mendocino shore. The kombu is the tell — it lends the gin a faint saline thread that most gins simply do not have. The nose is pine and citrus oil, the palate runs juniper, lime peel and soft almond with a savoury edge underneath, and the finish is cool and clean with a whisper of sea air. Pour it into a gin and tonic with a lime wheel, or a coastal martini.
