About this bottle
Aged seventeen years and bottled at 110 proof, Hardin's Creek Kentucky Series: Clermont is a Kentucky straight bourbon from James B. Beam Distilling Co. It anchors a terroir experiment, the same distillate matured at different Beam sites, and Clermont is the flagship maturation, raised in the historic Clermont rickhouses. The mash bill runs 77% corn, 13% rye, and 10% malted barley, and the extra years show: spiced caramel, brown sugar, dried fruit, and tobacco leaf over dry, tannic oak. A highly limited release, it rewards patience in the glass. Drink it neat to read the full seventeen years, or add a single cube to open the oak. Built for collectors and long-aged-bourbon drinkers.
