About this bottle

Herradura Reposado is a 100% blue agave tequila from the brand's own estate in Amatitan, Jalisco, where Herradura grows its agave, ferments with the natural yeast still clinging to the cooked agave fiber, and draws water from its own springs — a more traditional, hands-on process than most large producers use. Rested for eleven months in American oak, longer than the legal minimum for the category, it picks up real oak, vanilla, and caramel depth over the base agave sweetness. The result is rounder and more textured than a typical reposado, closer in weight to a young anejo.

How to drink Herradura Reposado

It's a rare reposado worth sipping neat — Herradura ferments with the natural yeast still on the agave fibers, giving it more character than most in this category. That said, it still makes an excellent, slightly earthier margarita if you'd rather mix it.
