About this bottle

Herradura Silver comes from Hacienda San José del Refugio in Amatitán, Jalisco, one of the oldest working tequila estates in Mexico, distilling since 1870. Unlike most blancos, which go straight from the still to the bottle, Herradura rests this one briefly in oak — around 45 days — before release, a house habit that rounds off the harsher edges typical of unaged tequila. Made from 100% blue Weber agave grown on the estate's own land, it carries cooked agave, black pepper, and a light citrus lift on the nose, with a clean, slightly peppery palate. A step above a typical mixing blanco, but still versatile enough for cocktails.

How to drink Herradura Silver

Try it neat first since the brief oak rest smooths it out more than most blancos — then use it in a Paloma or margarita if you want a livelier pour.
