Jameson Black Barrel is a small-batch blended Irish whiskey from Midleton Distillery, built by blending pot still and grain whiskeys matured partly in double-charred bourbon barrels — a heavier char than Jameson's standard barrels, which pushes more caramelized wood sugar into the spirit. This listing includes two glasses as a gift-set addition, but the whiskey itself is the standard Black Barrel liquid. Expect vanilla, toasted wood and dried fruit on the nose, a rich, rounded palate with toffee and spice, and a warm, moderately long finish with more depth than standard Jameson.
