Jefferson's Reserve Old Rum Cask Finish 750 ml

Jefferson's Reserve Old Rum Cask Finish is a Kentucky straight bourbon given a second maturation in casks that previously held very old Caribbean rum, chosen specifically for the sugar and tropical fruit the wood gives back. The finish does most of the talking here. Expect brown sugar, banana and dark caramel on the nose, a palate where bourbon vanilla and oak sit underneath a distinctly rummy sweetness of molasses and baked pineapple, and a long, sweet finish. It is one of the easier bourbons to hand to a rum drinker, and one of the few that changes their mind. Serve it neat, or over one large cube.
