Master blender Emma Walker developed it with Kei Kobayashi, the first Japanese chef to earn three Michelin stars in France, drawing on the rare casks — roughly one in 25,000 qualifies for Blue Label — that lean savory as well as sweet. Bottled at 43% ABV, the blend moves from baked orchard fruit and golden syrup into dried mushroom, roasted nuts, and gentle smoke, closing on a long, earthy finish. The Kei Kobayashi edition was a one-time release. The suggested serve pairs a slow sip with caviar; a quiet glass after a serious dinner works just as well.
