About this bottle
Jura 10 Year, also known as Origin, is the entry-level single malt Scotch from the Isle of Jura distillery, one of only two distilleries on the small Hebridean island. It's matured primarily in American white oak ex-bourbon casks with a finishing period in Oloroso sherry casks, unpeated in contrast to the smokier Jura expressions. Expect honey and vanilla on the nose, a light, fruity palate with a touch of toffee and nutmeg, and a clean, gently spiced finish. Bottled at 40% ABV, it's built as an approachable, easy-drinking island malt rather than a peat showcase — a good introduction to Jura before moving into the smokier or older expressions.
