Kyrö Whisky of Fire is a limited-edition release from Kyrö, the Finnish distillery built entirely around malted rye, dressed in a Game of Thrones themed label. The name suits the spirit — rye at full voice runs hot and spicy rather than soft. The nose brings toasted rye bread, dried apricot and baking spice; the palate is honey and dark fruit cut through with black pepper and warm rye spice; and the finish is long, warming and dry.
