La Venenosa Blanca 750ml

La Venenosa Blanca is a raicilla from Jalisco, bottled unaged so the character of the agave and the still comes through undiluted. Raicilla is Jalisco's older, rougher cousin to tequila, made in small rural stills from wild and cultivated agave, and La Venenosa is the label that put the category in front of a wider audience. Expect ripe tropical fruit, damp earth and green herbs on the nose, a palate that runs funky, floral and peppery with cooked agave sweetness underneath, and a long mineral finish. This is not a mixing bottle. Sip it neat at room temperature in a copita and let it stretch out.
