La Venenosa Costa De Jalisco- 15 Year Anniversary 750ml

La Venenosa Costa de Jalisco is the coastal raicilla in the range, distilled in the tabernas along the Jalisco coast, and this release marks the label's fifteenth anniversary. Coastal raicilla is the funkiest corner of the agave world, closer to a rustic rhum or a wild mezcal than to anything you would recognise as tequila. The nose is overripe tropical fruit, damp earth and green olive brine; the palate brings cooked agave, banana, black pepper and a briny mineral streak; and the finish is long, dry and savoury. Pour it neat at room temperature in a copita, in small measures, and give it air first.
