About this bottle
Lagavulin Offerman Edition 11 Year is an Islay single malt Scotch finished in stout casks from Guinness's Open Gate Brewery in Baltimore. The second release in the distillery's collaboration with actor Nick Offerman, it layers dark-beer sweetness over the tar-and-iodine smoke the Islay original built its name on. Eleven years in oak, bottled at 46%, and the stout finish shows: roasted malt, dark chocolate, and toffee ride alongside the campfire peat, with a faintly bitter espresso edge on the long finish. This is a genuinely limited edition that moves quickly when it hits shelves. Pour it neat next to an actual pint of Guinness — the pairing the bottle was built for.
