About this bottle
Laphroaig 10 Year is an Islay single malt Scotch known as one of the most aggressively peated whiskies on the market, made from malted barley dried over Laphroaig's own peat bogs on the island. The distillery holds a Royal Warrant and remains one of the few Islay producers to malt a portion of its own barley on-site. Expect an intense nose of smoke, iodine, and seaweed, a bold, medicinal palate carrying salt and peat smoke, and a long, smoky, slightly sweet finish underneath the intensity. It's a defining, love-it-or-hate-it Islay malt — the whisky most peat converts point to as the one that either made them or lost them.
