Las Californias Citrico Gin 750ml

Las Californias Citrico is a gin from Baja California, built around the citrus that grows across the peninsula rather than the classic London dry template. Juniper is still there holding the frame, but the citrus is what leads, which puts this closer to the contemporary end of the category. The nose is fresh peel and orange blossom with soft juniper underneath; the palate runs bright lemon and grapefruit over coriander and a green herbal base; the finish is clean, zesty and dry. Use it where you want the citrus loud: a gin and tonic with a thick grapefruit twist, or a Southside with plenty of mint.
