Laya Anejo Cristalino Tequila 40% Alc/Vol 750ml

Laya Anejo Cristalino is an aged tequila that has been filtered back to clear, which is what cristalino means: the barrel time stays in the flavour while the colour is stripped out. That trick gives you an unusual combination, the softness and sweetness of an anejo arriving in a spirit that looks like a blanco, and it is why cristalinos have taken over so much bar shelf space. Cooked agave, vanilla and toasted almond on the nose, a silky palate of caramel, honey and soft baking spice, and a smooth, lightly oaked finish. Serve it chilled in a small glass, or over one large cube after dinner.
