Laya Reposado Tequila 40% Alc/Vol 750ml

Laya Reposado is a rested tequila bottled at 40% ABV, oak-aged long enough to pick up colour and sweetness while keeping the cooked agave in view. Reposado is the category built for exactly this middle ground, softer than a blanco and lighter than an anejo, which is why it works as well in a glass on its own as it does in a drink. The nose gives cooked agave, vanilla and light oak; the palate is soft and sweet with honey, caramel and a gentle peppery lift; the finish is clean and warm. Drink it neat, or use it in a reposado paloma with grapefruit soda and lime.
