Leopold Bros operates the largest traditional floor-malting room of any distillery in the United States, and this bourbon finishes for several months in used barrels from the brand's own Three Chamber Rye. Expect a musty-oak, malted-barley nose with slight corn oil and earthy, funky notes, moving into honey, rye spice, baking spice and chewy caramel, finishing with rye spice, baker's chocolate, tobacco leaf and charred oak.
