Los Sundays Jalapeño Blanco takes the brand's unaged Jalisco blanco and infuses it with jalapeño, so the pepper arrives as fresh, green heat rather than a syrupy chilli flavour bolted on afterwards. The nose is cooked agave and cut jalapeño, grassy and bright; the palate keeps the tequila's citrus and roasted agave up front before the capsaicin builds across the middle; the finish is warm and vegetal, more garden than fire. It does most of the work in a Spicy Margarita with no muddling and no strainer full of pepper slices, and it makes a sharp base for a michelada or a Bloody Maria. Chill it well before pouring.
