Maestro Dobel 50 Extra Añejo is an extra añejo tequila from the Beckmann family's boutique house in Jalisco, aged well past the three-year minimum the extra añejo category requires. Made from 100% blue Weber agave and rested in American oak, it develops a deep golden color and a rounder, more concentrated profile than the brand's reposado — caramel, vanilla, and toasted oak layered over the base agave sweetness, with a long, smooth finish.
How to drink Maestro Dobel 50 Extra Añejo
Pour it neat into a snifter and give it a few minutes to open — the extended oak aging deserves to be tasted on its own, maybe alongside dark chocolate or a good cigar.
