Maestro Dobel Reposado comes from the Beckmann family's tequila house in the town of Tequila, Jalisco — the same lineage behind Jose Cuervo, spun off into its own project focused on blending across barrel types. The reposado spends several months resting in a mix of American and French oak before bottling, softening the raw agave into something rounder than a blanco. Expect roasted agave and citrus on the nose, then vanilla, light caramel, and baking spice on the palate, with a clean, moderately short finish. It's an easy-drinking reposado suited to drinkers who want oak influence without heavy sweetness.
