Marcado 28 Tequila Reposado takes the brand's Jalisco blanco and rests it in oak, which is all reposado means, rested. The wood softens the pepper and adds colour and sweetness while leaving the agave recognisable underneath. Expect vanilla, cooked agave and light caramel on the nose, a rounder palate of butterscotch, baked pear and gentle spice, and a finish that stays warm without turning woody.
