Mermaid Small Batch Gin 750ml

Mermaid Gin is made by the Isle of Wight Distillery off England's south coast and bottled at 42 percent. Its signature botanical is rock samphire, foraged on the island's shoreline, which brings a coastal, faintly saline lift you rarely find in gin, while Boadicea hops, elderflower, lemon zest and grains of paradise fill out the rest of the recipe. The nose is juniper, citrus and fresh herbs, the palate is smooth and slightly peppery with lemon, coriander seed and that mineral samphire edge, and the finish is long, dry and clean. Serve it with a good tonic and a slice of lemon, or in a dry martini.
