Michter's Barrel Strength Sour Mash 750 ML

Michter's Barrel Strength Sour Mash is a limited annual release from the Louisville distillery and the heaviest version of the sour mash whiskey Michter's sells year round. Sour mash sits outside the usual categories, not labelled bourbon and not rye, and Michter's has built a following on its rich, rounded style. At barrel strength the proof shifts with each batch and everything gets louder: dark caramel, dried cherry and toasted oak on the nose, a thick palate of brown sugar, cocoa, leather and baking spice, and a long finish of oak and warm spice. Add water in small increments, or pour it over one large cube.
