Naga Malacca is a spiced rum from Indonesia, a country with sugar cane, spice trade history and almost no rum reputation, which is exactly what makes the bottle interesting. The name points to the Strait of Malacca, the sea lane that carried cinnamon, clove and nutmeg out of the archipelago for centuries, and those are the flavours the rum leans into. The nose is warm spice, vanilla and dried tropical fruit.
