This bourbon is bold and full-bodied, tipping the scales at a respectable 94 proof. The complex aroma offers notes of caramel, hazelnut, vanilla, oak, and hints of baking spices, while the palate brings notes of cornbread, caramel, sweet oak, dried fruit, and clove. Finish is warm and rich with dried fruit. The Spire French Oak finish adds layers of complexity to the whiskey, along with a lovely burnt-sugar and toasted-oak character.
