Oceano Azul Lion 1.75L

Oceano Azul Lion is a tequila sold in a 1.75L figural decanter modelled on a seated lion, a display bottle first with a serious volume of liquid behind it. The glass is heavy, the shape is the reason people buy it, and the size makes it a natural centrepiece for a party or a permanent fixture on a back bar. The tequila itself is easygoing rather than complicated: cooked agave and green pepper on the nose, a soft palate with vanilla, citrus and a little black pepper, then a short and clean finish. Pour it chilled into caballitos for a toast, or build palomas with grapefruit soda and lime.
