In 1870 George Garvin Brown started selling whiskey only in sealed glass bottles, with his signature on the label, because barrel whiskey was routinely watered down or doctored between the distillery and your glass. That seal was the promise. It's the first bourbon sold exclusively in bottle, and the direct ancestor of every tamper-evident closure you've opened since.

Nose: light caramel, apple skin, faint mint. Palate: simple and clean, sweet corn and oak. Finish: brisk. A history lesson you can afford to mix.
