Ole Smoky Tennessee Moonshine Snickerdoodle is a flavoured moonshine built around the cinnamon-sugar cookie it takes its name from, made in Gatlinburg by the distillery that brought moonshine out of the woods and onto the shelf. The base is unaged corn spirit, clean and slightly sweet and neutral enough to let the flavouring do all the talking. The nose is warm cinnamon, butter and vanilla sugar; the palate is thick and sweet, tasting genuinely of cookie dough with a light spice bite behind it; the finish is short and sugary. Drink it cold as a shot, stir it into coffee, or pour it over vanilla ice cream.
