Olmeca Altos Plata is a 100% agave blanco tequila made in the highlands (Los Altos) of Jalisco, bottled unaged shortly after distillation to showcase raw agave character, sold here with two cantarito cups. Highland-grown agave typically brings a sweeter, more floral base than lowland agave even before any aging. Expect fresh cooked agave, citrus and black pepper on the nose, a clean, peppery palate with a touch of sweetness, and a crisp, agave-forward finish. Built as an accessible, well-made highland blanco for margaritas and other classic tequila cocktails.
