Onda Reposado 750 ML

Onda Reposado is a tequila rested in oak before bottling, a middle-ground expression for drinkers who want the barrel present but not in charge. Reposado is a regulated resting period under Mexican law, at least two months and no more than a year in wood, which is long enough to pull colour and vanilla out of the barrel without the oak taking over the way it can in an anejo. The nose is cooked agave, vanilla and citrus peel; the palate is soft and lightly sweet, with caramel, oak and a peppery edge; the finish is clean and medium. Serve it neat, or in a tommy margarita with fresh lime.
