Pantalones Blanco is the unaged expression of the organic tequila line founded by Camila and Matthew McConaughey, distilled in Jalisco from blue Weber agave. With no barrel time, there is nowhere for the distillate to hide, which is precisely the point of a blanco — you get the agave and the still, and nothing else. The nose is fresh cooked agave with lime, green pepper and a floral lift; the palate is bright and clean, showing citrus, white pepper and a mineral streak; the finish is crisp with a short peppery warmth. Chill it and sip it straight, or shake it into a margarita with fresh lime and a salted rim.
