Paqui Añejo is a 100% blue agave tequila aged in American oak barrels, meeting the minimum aging requirement for the añejo designation. Extended barrel time gives it a deeper amber color and a rounder profile than reposado or blanco expressions, typically layering vanilla, caramel, and toasted oak over the base agave character. As with most añejo tequilas, the wood influence is more pronounced than the vegetal agave notes found in younger expressions. It suits drinkers who prefer their tequila closer to a sipping brown spirit than a bright, agave-forward pour.
