Paraduxx, a Napa Valley brand founded by the Duckhorn family, built its identity on blending Zinfandel into a Bordeaux-style base — a less conventional approach for Napa reds. This Proprietary Red 2018 blends Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Malbec, and Petit Verdot. This full-bodied red wine has aromas of blackberry, cassis, and dark chocolate, with flavors of black cherry, mocha, and toasted oak. The tannins are firm and the finish is long and lingering.
