Partida Añejo is a 100% blue agave tequila aged a minimum of twelve months in American white oak barrels at the Partida distillery in Amatitán, Jalisco. The year in wood brings caramel, vanilla, and toasted oak over the cooked-agave core, rounding out the sharper edges of the unaged spirit. Expect a smooth, warm palate with baking spice, and a long, mellow finish. Bottled at 80 proof, it's built as a sipping tequila for drinkers moving from bourbon or brandy into aged agave spirits, with enough oak character to stand up neat.
