Porfidio Reposado Extra 750 ml

Porfidio Reposado Extra is a 100% blue agave tequila rested in oak, from the house that made its name in the 1990s with hand-blown bottles and an insistence that tequila be judged like fine brandy. The rest is long enough to round the spirit without burying it: cooked agave and citrus peel on the nose, then a palate that runs sweet agave and butterscotch against white pepper and a green, herbal edge that keeps things honest. The finish is medium and warm. This is the version that works both ways, so pour it neat to see the agave or build it into a tequila old fashioned.
