Prichard's Sweet Lucy is Benjamin Prichard's most popular release, a bourbon-based liqueur built from an old duck-hunting recipe of peaches, oranges, and apricots steeped with sugar and whiskey. It's produced at Prichard's Distillery in Kelso, Tennessee — the first legal distillery built in the state in nearly fifty years when Phil Prichard opened it in 1997. The fruit softens the bourbon's edge, leading with peach and orange on the nose, dried apricot and vanilla through the palate, and a warm, lightly spiced finish. A portion of every bottle supports A Soldier's Child Foundation. It's a good pick for anyone who wants bourbon's warmth without its full bite.
