Primera Clase Blanco is an unaged tequila bottled straight off the still, with no time in wood to soften or colour it. That is the point of a blanco: what you taste is the agave and the house style, with nowhere to hide. Expect cooked agave, lime zest and a stony, mineral note on the nose, then a clean agave sweetness on the palate cut with black pepper and a faint saline edge, finishing short and bright. Serve it chilled in a caballito alongside sangrita, or use it as the base of a margarita or a Paloma with fresh grapefruit.
