Purity Citron 34 is the lemon expression of the Swedish organic vodka made at Ellinge Castle in Skåne, where the spirit is run through the distillery's copper and gold still thirty-four times before bottling. That number is the whole idea behind the range: repeated distillation strips the harshness and leaves a soft, almost creamy texture that carries citrus well. The nose is fresh lemon zest with a faint floral edge, the palate is clean citrus over that rounded grain base, and the finish is crisp and dry with lingering lemon oil. Serve it very cold, in a vodka martini with a twist, or in a lemon drop.
