Raizee Crystal Onyx Joven is a joven tequila, a style that arrives either as a blend of unaged and aged tequila or as an aged tequila filtered clear, keeping barrel softness while looking like a blanco in the glass. Either route gives a rounder, sweeter pour than a straight blanco without any of the colour. Expect cooked agave and citrus blossom on the nose, a palate of vanilla, pear and mild white pepper, and a smooth finish with little heat behind it. Serve it chilled and neat in a small glass, or use it to build a margarita that tastes richer than its colour suggests.
