Remus Repeal Reserve is the annual limited release from George Remus, blended at the Ross & Squibb Distillery in Lawrenceburg, Indiana and bottled at 100 proof. Each year's edition is a medley of older bourbon stocks chosen and married for that release alone, so the 2025 bottling stands as its own thing rather than a repeat of the last one. Expect a nose of dark caramel, cherry and toasted oak; a palate of brown sugar, cinnamon, orange peel and leather; and a long finish where rye spice and dry oak trade places. Drink it neat, or with a few drops of water, and take your time with it.
